Zouhair Mussa is a Sudanese/Nubian poet born at Alta Bates and raised in West Oakland.
He says redistribute the wealth.
Fight the power.

He knows resistance and civil unrest like the back of his hand.
He is Zou.
Cin is an Afro mexicana queer musician, poet, and activist living in Oakland, CA. Originally from San Diego, she came to the Bay in search of community. And that’s exactly what she has found. She uses her writing as a way to reconnect to her inner child and the people around her. Being a huge mental health advocate , her music and creations make way for the uncomfortable and the unseen to have a place to land. Cin is a proponent for what it means to live outside of boxes and allowing herself and inviting others to delve into their truth. Her inspirations for music come from Hip hop, rnb all the way to alternative rock. She finds a way to blend in these influences into her sound of ethereal to gut wrenching. In her lyrics you’ll find mentions of heart break, triumphs, intergenerational trauma and her fight against systems of oppression. Cin has been performing in the Bay Area for the past couple of years. With almost no music out until this year. dropping her debut single DAZE. A song dedicated to folks who are struggling with their mental health and their own cycles of harm. Cin is working on her debut project and EP that will hopefully be dropping this year.
